Dr. Julissa Espinoza, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, CCTP
Dr. Julissa Espinoza is a highly accomplished and dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in the field of counseling and behavioral health. She has a doctorate in Counselor Education from the Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University.
As Executive Director and licensed professional counselor, Dr. Espinoza has honed her expertise in various evidence-based therapeutic modalities. She is fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), among others.
Over the past decade, Dr. Espinoza has dedicated her career to working with at-risk populations in behavioral health communities and private settings. Her experience spans across different age groups, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from diverse backgrounds. Specializing in trauma and the treatment of co-occurring psychiatric disorders, Dr. Espinoza has demonstrated a remarkable ability to provide compassionate care and empower individuals to navigate through difficult experiences. Dr. Espinoza also brings invaluable expertise in addiction counseling. She has worked with individuals struggling with addictions, offering support, guidance, and evidence-based interventions to facilitate the recovery process.
