What kind of treatment programs do you offer?

What therapies and modalities do you use during treatment?

Your personalized treatment plan may include: · Cognitive behavioral therapy · Dialectical behavior therapy · Rational emotive behavior therapy · Trauma therapy · Acceptance and commitment therapy · Individual and group therapy · Family therapy · Recreational therapy · Equine therapy · Music and art therapy · Nutrition and wellness

How long does treatment last at Discovery Point?

Our addiction treatment programs and services are not defined by a number of days, but rather by your individual needs. Our phased approach allows you to advance through treatment at a pace based on your specific situation and clinical milestones.

Do you offer outpatient programs that allow me to still go to work, go to school or take care of family members?

Yes. We offer a variety of outpatient treatment programs for alcohol and drugs. Our programs are centered around making rehab work for you. We know those who are committed will put in the work. So we are committed to providing programs that will let you fulfill your responsibilities, while still putting your sobriety first.

Does Discovery Point take medical insurance?

Yes! We accept most major medical insurance plans. Recent legislation has made it mandatory for insurance providers to pay for drug and alcohol treatment. Speak with one of our admissions representatives, who can assist you in verifying your coverage and provide information on other payment options.

Do you take Medicaid?

Unfortunately, Medicaid doesn’t provide coverage for treatment at Discovery Point. However, there are alternative ways to pay for treatment. If you can afford it, there’s the option of paying out-of-pocket. If possible, seeking aid from family members or friends can help cover the cost of care, which you can repay later. My Treatment Lender, credit cards and traditional banks may also cover the cost of treatment.

What if I don't have health insurance?

If you don’t have insurance, we can help you find a way to pay for your care. The cost of treatment depends on the level of care needed, which is tailored to each individual. Depending on your situation, we may be able to provide payment plans to help cover the cost of your care. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and debit cards. To discuss your needs, please call us today at 855-306-8054.

Do I have to detox before starting the next phase of treatment?

Most of our clients at Discovery Point Retreat find it beneficial to undergo medically assisted detox before beginning the next phase. However, we understand that every individual is different. We’re happy to work with you to create the best possible treatment plan for you!

What drugs cause withdrawals?

Any drug — including alcohol — used over a significant period of time can cause withdrawal symptoms.

Can I detox at home?

Yes, but we strongly recommend against it. Unless you’ve already been abstaining from drugs and alcohol for some time, you’re likely to experience unpleasant withdrawal symptoms that can be severe — and even lead to death. It’s much safer to undergo detox under the care of medical professionals, who can also alleviate withdrawal symptoms.

Why is Discovery Point Retreat a better detox option than others?

Discovery Point Retreat is committed to providing you with safe and comfortable detox from drugs and alcohol. There’s no reason to suffer from withdrawal symptoms! We can help make the experience as painless as possible, so you can move on to the real work of recovery.

How long does detox last?

Generally speaking, it takes about seven to ten days for the toxic chemicals to leave your body. We’ll monitor you closely, as it may take a little more or less time for each individual.

Does insurance pay for detox?

If your health insurance covers drug and alcohol treatment, it should also cover the detox phase. Discovery Point Retreat accepts most major medical insurance and is network with many companies. Don’t worry — we’ll help you sort out insurance and payments. In the meantime, you can verify your insurance here.

Do you provide rehab programs for couples?

Substance abuse among couples is a common reality, which is why we provide rehab programs for couples. Our treatment programs focus on healing you both as individuals and together as a supportive unit. This includes group and individual therapy sessions as well as couples counseling. However, couples may not reside together during the course of care.

Does Discovery Point have rehab programs specific to women?

While we are a co-ed facility, we do provide gender-specific support groups and resources to provide a safe space for all. We are also an LGBTQ+ informed treatment facility, providing a safe space for addressing issues related to gender identity and sexuality.

Does Discovery Point use a 12-step program?

We provide an optional 12-step program as one of our treatment modalities. We combine cognitive behavioral therapy with spiritual elements from the 12-step program to help you achieve long-term sobriety. During your addiction treatment, you will learn the guiding principles of the 12-step program alongside other individuals receiving treatment.

What’s your confidentiality policy?

Your privacy is important to us. We follow federal HIPAA guidelines and all communication must be approved by you with written consent. Your treatment will be completely confidential at our centers.
