The types of addiction recovery programs you’ll find at Discovery Point Retreat vary across our three facilities, but all of our treatment plans focus on your unique needs. We want to meet you wherever you are in your recovery journey right now. That’s why we offer a full continuum of care including medical detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient treatment and continuing care.
Our team develops a comprehensive treatment plan, customized to meet your unique needs based on your medical history, physical condition and all psychological, social and biological factors influencing your behavior. Our addiction treatment programs are designed to:
In addition, we know your journey doesn’t end when you leave treatment. Discovery Point Retreat has a large alumni support network that you join when you graduate, helping you maintain your newfound sobriety.
No matter how severe your addiction is, our high-quality programs can help you get on the road to recovery. During each step of treatment, clients can rest assured that they will receive consistent, integrated addiction and mental health care from the treatment team they have come to know and trust.
Medical detox is recommended when you’ve depended on drugs or alcohol for some time. If you’re still under the influence, it can be difficult to focus on rehabilitation and treatment. Detoxing clients are monitored and supported around the clock by our team of expert clinicians to help you through withdrawal safely and comfortably. At the end of detox, you’ll feel stronger, healthier and ready to begin the therapy needed to sustain sobriety.
Residential treatment programs are a good fit for people who need more structure. You stay at the rehab facility 24/7 so you can give your undivided attention to recovery without outside distractions. Residential treatment includes a full schedule of comprehensive therapies proven to treat the many factors that contribute to addiction, including individual, group and family counseling as well as holistic and experiential programs that support personal growth and healing.
Some people can’t stay overnight at the rehabilitation center, but need the structure of a residential program. A partial hospitalization program offers the best of both worlds, requiring clients to attend several days a week for multiple hours a day.
Because we understand the importance of flexibility, we offer intensive outpatient programs at Discovery Point Retreat. If staying on our premises isn’t practical for you, there’s the option to commute to our facility for your treatment and go home afterward. The IOP lets you choose between day and evening programs, so professional, educational and family commitments don’t stand in the way of treatment.
We understand the importance of continuing care beyond rehab, especially if your goal is long-term sobriety. Continuing care through our aftercare services helps you develop and maintain a strong support system, reducing your chances of relapse.
