Women’s Rehab Program Near Dallas, TX

If you’re a woman who is struggling with an addiction, help is available. It’s time to get the care you need — and deserve — to live a better life.

Why Consider a Women’s Rehab Program?

When you’ve tried to end your substance abuse, but can’t seem to succeed on your own, it’s time to explore the treatment options available to you. While Discovery Point Retreat isn’t exclusively for women, we do have dedicated women-only treatment programs. Some of the amenities, services and advantages of our women’s addiction treatment facility include:

For some, seeking help for addiction is difficult enough. Being surrounded by individuals of both genders can quickly become intimidating and overwhelming, and you may not be ready to discuss your addiction with men. A women’s rehab center can provide a sense of safety and support. Here, you can feel free to discuss your substance abuse without feeling pressured by the opposite sex. Additionally, women-only addiction treatment programs involve staff that understand the unique concerns of women in recovery, allowing for more personalized care.

Also, Discovery Point Retreat excels in treating trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) through a technique known as EMDR. If your substance abuse has been fueled by sexual abuse or assault, domestic violence or other traumas, you may be more comfortable dealing with these experiences in a same-sex environment — especially in early recovery.

What Types of Treatment Are Available in Women’s Rehab?

Cognitive behavioral therapy is a well-known approach that can address and treat addiction, along with many other illnesses and disorders — including anxiety and avoidance disorders.

12-step treatment is fairly common among both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs. With a 12-step program in our women’s addiction treatment facility, you gain a sense of structure and routine. You can also make lasting connections with other women as you share an interest in a sober, drug-free way of life.

With recreational therapy techniques, you can focus on relearning how to live your life again without the use of drugs and alcohol. After all, addiction treatment doesn’t have to feel scary or boring. Recreational therapy within Discovery Point’s women’s addiction treatment program is ideal for those who are looking to connect with other women to discover (or rediscover) hobbies and activities that bring joy and fulfillment.

Phases of Treatment in our Women’s Program

If you struggle with a physical dependency on drugs or alcohol, a medical detox center may be necessary. Discovery Point Retreat’s women’s addiction treatment program relies on medically monitored detoxification to ensure your safety, health and wellbeing while you eliminate toxic substances from your body.

Then, you may be a candidate for one of our residential inpatient treatment programs, which involve living at our facility for 30, 60, 90 days, or more. You’ll have access to addiction specialists, medical professionals and staff to guide you through your individualized recovery plan with compassion and expertise.

Also, our traditional outpatient programs offer an accessible option and may include 12-step programs, individual counseling, sponsor meetings and group therapy.

Finally, our intensive outpatient program and partial hospitalization program solutions can be ideal for women that require treatment similar to our inpatient programs, but are unable to reside at the facility because of certain obligations.

No matter which of our treatment programs is right for you, we can get you the help you need to live a happy, productive and sober life. Call Discovery Point Retreat in Dallas, TX to learn more about our women’s rehab programs today. And together, we’ll get you started on the road to recovery now.
